Currently have AC1900 I believe. Moving into a new house with a new RAX43. Can I have them both set up with same ID and password so that we have one in both houses as we move? New house will have modem available.
So I can/should be able to transfer the settings from R7000 to RAX43 and use them in seperate houses for about a month, if I understand correctly?
You cannot transferthe settings.That is beyond the capabilities of Netgear's routers and is high on the wishlist for many people.
You can set up the new router with the same settings for wifi and admin access.
And there is nothing to prevent you from using the same details in two locations. I do this all the time because I have two separate networks, home and office.
AC1900 is not a unique Netgear model number. Many devices come with the AC/AX tag, but it is essentially a label that Netgear, and others, attach to hardware to describe wifi speeds.
Look at the label on the device for the Model Number. And, if there is one, include the "V" bit to show the hardware version. If there is no V number, then you have V1.

Yes. Just set the new RAX43 up with the same details. Not sure what you mean by ID and password, it you mean wifi, that's fairly easy but might not be best done with the Nighthawk app.
Do you know what that modem is? If it is a modem/router, that can complicate things. But let's not worry about that until the problem arises. Just be warned that if things don't work that could be the cause.
