I initially set up the "primary" network (the one from the Xfinitiy cable modem) and the Orbi network with our family last name - SmithFamily and SmithFamilyOrbiMesh, respectively. I figured that was dumb and changed the names to something else, like DogNetwork and DogOrbiMesh - which was fine for the Orbi network, but not the primary. Now when I open the Orbi app, I get the initial error message that the app can't connect to the primary and am given a few options - switch WiFi networks or troubleshoot, which includes a New System Setup. I can, however, connect via Anywhere Access. So I have a few questions:
Can the app even monitor the "primary" (DogNetwork), or is it limited to the network created by the Orbi devices? In a perfect world we would only be on the Orbi network, but there are still places in the house where the "primary" network can be better.
Assuming the answer to #1 is "yes", do I need to do a New System Setup?
