Hello
Orange keeps changing the name of my two WIFI network 😫 so my Alexa is down each time.
I have about 80 devices so there is no question I have to change the setting of those devices each time that Orange is resetting my WIFI names
My Idea is to add this two WIFI network to my 3x ORBI
I need to add a 5GHZ and a 2.4 GHZ Wifi Network with a different already defined name
Is it possible ? how ?
Thanks in advance for your help
Best regards
Cyril

Hello
I have found that you can have 3 x WIFI network that have 2 x SSID, one for 2.4 and one for 5 ghz
Netgear send a note today about 6 ghz

Re: Multiple WIFI network on an ORBI
It would help to know the components of this network:
- The Internet Service Provider is Orange, correct?
- What equipment has Orange provided?
- This Orange equipment broadcasts WiFi channels, and Orange changes the WiFi name (SSID) of these channels?
- There is a Netgear Orbi system connected to the Orange equipment?
(specific model numbers would help) - What 'mode' is the Orbi system set to? (router or access point?)

Re: Multiple WIFI network on an ORBI
Orbi doesn't support having separate SSID names.
One system that does support separate SSID name is the Nighthawk MK series MESH systems.

Re: Multiple WIFI network on an ORBI
Hello
Thank you very much for your answer.
I just had an idea : can you define the "WIFI invited" as a 2.4GHZ connexion
If no :
- Do you know another router that is not "mobile" ?
Best Regards
