AXE11000 WiFi Mesh: Connectivity Problems?

I recently purchased the NETGEAR AXE11000 WiFi Mesh System, 've encountered a couple of issues that I hope the community can shed some light on. My Samsung Galaxy S20, connected to the AXE11000, faces frequent connectivity drops within close range. How did you address similar issues with this device, and have you found a solution?" While the AXE11000 is touted for its high-speed capabilities, I've observed fluctuations in performance. Sometimes the speeds are impressive, but on other occasions, there's a noticeable drop in speed. Are there any optimization tips or firmware updates that might address these performance variations?

Recently implies there is time remaining on Netgear's 90 days of 'complimentary support'.  Have you considered opening a support case with Netgear?  (Most of us came to the forum because we were no longer eligible to contact Netgear support without purchasing a support contract.)

 

It would be helpful to know what speed the Internet Service Provider (ISP) has contracted to deliver vs. what speeds the S20 is reporting.

What model Orbi system do you have RBK9##? 

What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
Be sure your using a good quality LAN cable between the modem and router. CAT6A STP is recommended. 

 

How many RBS are deployed? 
What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router and 📡 satellite(s)? 30 feet or more is recommended in between RBR📡 and RBS🛰️ to begin with depending upon building materials when wired or wirelessly connected.

 

Does this happen with the RBS turned OFF? 
Does this happen with both wireless and wired devices? 
What channel configurations are currently set on the router?  
Any Wifi Neighbors near by? If so, how many?

 

Be sure to disable any MAC Address randomizers on phones and pads while at home:

Try disabling the following and see:
Armor, Smart Parental Controls or Circle, Traffic Meter.
