Just another person that wants “Hide SSID” back on RBKE963
So, just got my bajillion dollar 6E Orbi setup and was dismayed to find yet another manufacturer dropping support for “Hide SSID.”
I understand that hiding your SSID doesn’t increase security. Yes, even a hacker with mild skills can see the name of a hidden network.
But much like I don’t wear a lapel microphone to broadcast everything I say to my neighborhood via a loud speaker, I would prefer to not broadcast the name of my WiFi network either.
You already coded this feature. I bet it’s still in the source too. Just remove those comment symbols and let us have it back.

NG has dropped hidden SSID features couple of years ago and doesn't seem to be going back.
You can post about this here though:

Good Luck.
