Orbi RBRE 960 Wifi Speed
Really happy with the RBRE960 System I have just purchased. Router and 2 satellites.
When running a speed test with my MacBook Pro 2x2 I get approx 500 Mbps. The TX rate is 1200 and the PHY 802AX rssi -55db and noise -88db.
I expected more, any ideas on how I can fine tune the system?
I have no competing wifi broadcasts from any neighbours (none nearby) just the Orbi AP's themselves.
You can try swapping channels to see if it helps.
But it might not. Usually you get around 55-65% of the link speed for throughput. You're a bit below that but it could be related to the PC, network overhead, etc.
What speeds do you get wired?

- Hi thanks for your reply, wired I get full 930Mbps dl and 117Mbps ul on BT FTTP in the UK.
Tried changing channels but roughly the same on any channel.
