RBK750 Slow file transfer speeds between devices; internet speeds to devices fine
I need to get some feedback and I can't seem to figure out what the issue or setting that may be off. First off, I do not have any issues related to internet speeds on any devices. I tried searches, but almost all searches are related to internet speeds on devices and not file transfer speeds between devices.
Using a the Orbi RBR750 firmware V4.6.5.14_2.0.54 (latest). NAS Synology DS918+, around 45% storage usage, Seagate IronWolf 4TB NAs drives (SATA 6Gb/s 5900 RPM 64MB Cache) 8G ram, two 250GB MVE cache, bounded both ethernet ports.
I used NAS Performance Tester 1.7: The results:
Running warmup... (WiFi 6 connection to PC)

I was expecting more speed via ethernet, thus not surprised or my issue. Overall, I would assume the speeds would be a lot higher with Gigabit ports and WiFi 6. It's possible it's the drives speed limits. I would still figure I would be getting a few hundred mbps transfer speeds, even over WiFi.

Re: RBK750 Slow file transfer speeds between devices; internet speeds to devices fine
What is the brand and model # of the ethernet and wifi adapters on this PC?
For your ethernet results, those are in range or expected speeds on a 1000Mpbs connection rate on ethernet. You'll not see much more then that.
Wifi speeds depends on your wifi adapter. Some adapters may only be 2x2 which will limit speed performances. 4x4 will see better results maybe.
Also going thru WiFi is never be as good as direct wired ethernet connections.
