Wired Satellites and IP Address Issues
I have a RBK852 system - one satellite. I have the satellite connected in wired mode (in wireless, signal was poor). I have the satellite assigned a static IP address of 192.168.66.3 (router is 192.168.66.2). In "Attached Devices" under "Connected Satellites" on the Orbi router, it states that the satellite is connected in wired mode, but has an IP address of 192.168.10.250 (not even in the range of assignable DHCP addresses). But then, also in the Attached Devices section (with the entire list of attached devices), it does list the satellite as an "attached device" as wired and with the correct IP address of 192.168.66.3 (but a generic device name). I can log into the satellite directly using the 192.168.66.3 address, but not the 192.168.10.250 address. I can also ping the 192.168.66.3 address, but not the 192.168.10.250 address. I have rebooted the satellite numerous times.
Any suggestions?

Re: Wired Satellites and IP Address Issues
What FW version do you have loaded on the RBS and RBR?
How is the RBS ethernet connected to the back of the RBR? Directly to the back or is there a ethernet LAN switch in between? Brand and model of switch please.
What CAT# lan cable are you using between the RBS and RBR? CAT6 is recommended.
What browser are you using?
Has a power off for 1 minute then back ON with the ISP modem and router been performed since last update?
Be sure to restart your network in this sequence:
Turn off and unplug modem.
Turn off router and computers.
Plug in and turn on modem. Wait 2 minutes for it to connect.
Turn on the router and wait 2 minutes for it to connect.
Turn on computers and rest of network.
Has a factory reset and setup from scratch been performed since last FW update? A complete pull of the power adapters for a period of time after the factory reset then walk thru the setup wizard and setup from scratch with a wired PC and web browser. Recommend setting the default DHCP IP address pool range to the following after applying and a factory reset: 192.168.#.100 to 192.168.#.200.

I would power OFF the ISP modem for 1 minute. Factory reset the Orbi router and power it off. Power ON the ISP modem and let it sync. Then power ON the Orbi router and walk thru the setup wizard again using a wired PC and a web browser.
Press the back reset button for 15 seconds then release.
