Orbi RBR50 Transparent Bridging not working with Centurylink Technicolor C2000T

I'm trying to get transparent bridging working again. My internet went down and at first I thought it was an issue on my end so I started troubleshooting and for some dumb reason decided it was a good idea to restore factory defaults to my Centurylink Modem/router. Then a couple hours later Centurylink showed there was an outage in the area.
So I am trying to get the transparent bridging working again and I am pulling my hair out because everything I try is not working.
I have even factory restored the Orbi and I'm still not getting anywhere. I have confirmed that I am using the correct PPPoE credentials which are also the same credentials that were working before this mess. I've also taken some screenshots which I hope will help to show whats going on.
Any help/suggestions are welcome. I apologize in advance if this was posted in the wrong area, still kind of new to the site.
This is a screenshot showing the modem status page of the Technicolor C2000T. As you can see I have a bonded connection. This screenshot is before I attempt to turn on transparent bridging. Up to this point the internet is working and connection is good.
This one shows the Broadband settings of the C2000T before I attempt to turn on transparent bridging.
My Orbi is connected via ethernet to the Centurylink modem and the connection is also good before I begin the transparent bridging process.
These are how the lights look before I attempt to begin transparent bridging.
This is the process that I followed:
1. After loggin in to the Centuryling modem admin page I went under advanced setup and then under WAN settings and changed the ISP setting to "Transparent Bridging Untagged"
2. Then, on the Orbi, under Internet Setup, I entered the PPPoE credentials.
3. Then I rebooted both the modem and the Orbi
This is what the lights look like on my Centurylink modem after attempting to setup transparent bridging:
And this is what the Connection Status page shows on the Orbi:

For anyone running into the same problem, I did two things.
I had centurylink swap out the modem and now I am running on a C4000BG(not a good solution for most but needed to be done in my situation, as michaelkenward mentioned my old router was from 2014 lol)
The second thing I did was instead of selecting “transparent bridging untagged”, I selected “transparent bridging 201”.
Everything is up and running as it was before.
Thanks michaelkenward for assisting.
Hopes this helps anyone else that runs into this issue.

The "bridging" word is easily open to confusion depending on the device involved and the context. So can we clarify that what you are trying to do is to get the Centurylink Technicolor C2000T to work in bridge (modem only) mode?
Have you tried this?
centurylink technicolor c2000t bridge mode - Google Search
Does this modem/router really date from 2014?
It seems to me that you issue is with the modem/router. You shouldn't need to do anything serious to the Orbi router beyond giving it your Internet settings.

Be sure to save off a back up configuration to file for safe keeping. Saves time if a reset is needed.
