Orbi network not showing up
Hi all - I just returned home from the holidays to find that my Orbi router and satellites don't seem to work anymore. My modem still works, and I am accessing internet through that, but I cannot find my Orbi network from my router (RBR40) and my satellites (RBW30) will not connect. I've tried restarting everything according to the manual (http://www.downloads.netgear.com/files/GDC/RBK50/Orbi_UM_EN.pdf), but nothing has worked. Should I try to restore to factory settings next? Any other suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Re: Orbi network not showing up
Could you clarify: the Orbi WiFi network name (SSID) does not appear on the list of available WiFi networks?
Do you have a laptop or desktop computer that can be connected to the Orbi with an ethernet cable?
When you restart the Orbi, what colors do you see on the power LED (on the back) and on the "Ring LED" (at the top)?

Re: Orbi network not showing up
I tried to connect the laptop to the ethernet cable and there is still nothing.
The colors on the Orbi are green in back for the power LED and a pulsing white light for the ring LED.

Re: Orbi network not showing up
The pulsing white ring is not something one expects to see for a system that has been working for some time.

My guess is it is time to get out the paperclip and perform a "factory reset" on the router.
Good Luck!
