Orbi turns Magenta after some days working OK

My orbi router occassionally (but every day) has the ring turn magenta and internet connection is lost.  It will stay solid magenta for about 30 seconds or so and then turns off as internet connection resumes.  I have fios and have turned off the signal from the modem.  Since it is infrequent between occurrances and the connection ultimate resumes it's hard to figure out what's wrong.  I haven't identified any device/appliance that could be interferring.  Thx

    Hello Slums 

     

    You may just want to move the satellite a little closer to where the main Orbi is just could be losing signal at certain times from something interfering. Also make sure you are using the latest firmware.

      Thx.  I've done those and it still happens.  The satellite ring does not change color when the router turns solid magenta.
