RBR50 getting >300Mbs in but only ~70 Mbs out wired or wireless
We were getting Wifi speeds of >300Mbs out of our Orbi RBR50 & RBS50 with latest firmware (v2.7.4.24) from our Optimum Arris TM1602 modem until 3 weeks ago when the Wifi speed out from the Orbi dropped to 40-80Mbs. We plugged via Ethernet into the Orbi and still only ~70Mbs wired.
Has anyone else had an issue like this?
Any suggestions/solution of any sort to fix this?
Also, are there pages with optimized and advanced settings?

I'd suggest starting with that modem. Its a pretty old, base model docsis 3.0 device.
connect a pc/laptop directly to it and test the speeds off the modem

Did that before posting. We get the 300+mbs that we are supposed to gets and that we're getting into the Orbi.

and you hit full wired speeds on the orbi?
the 70mbps is about all you can expect from 2.4ghz as its a slow network but you should get full 300+ from wired and potentially from the 5ghz.

We notice that all of our devices are connected at 2.4G even though they are 5G capable. Shouldn't they connect at 5G when we are 10 feet from the router? Is that usual or is our Orbi not selecting 5G for some reason.

The orbi doesn't steer them to the 5g. they (the phones/tablets/etc) move themselves based on their own roaming protocols.
Try turning wifi off and back on on the devices to see if they'll connect to the 5g
