Satellite will not connect to base
The Orbi Satellite has stopped working. It fails to reconnect to the base. The RBK40 base works fine.
We lost some wifi coverage when the satellite was no longer synced.
Generally, the satellite can blink for days, trying to connect. That is the mode that it is in now.
Sometimes while trying to sync the satellite blinks white for quite a while, then blinks green once folllowed by magenta once, then back to white.
The satellite is now in the same room as the base. Same result.
The base and the satelite have been reset to the factory firmware. Same result.
The Orbi system was purchased last January.

Re: Satellite will not connect to base
What FW is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the ISP modem the NG router is connected too?
Push in the reset button on the back of the satellite and watch the top of the satellite. Top LED will turn on AMBER, let go of the reset button, Wait for the slow WHITE pulsating LED on top. Then try to sync with the router.
What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router and satellite(s)? 30 feet is recommended in between them to begin with depending upon building materials.
What channels are you using? Auto? Try setting manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz and any unused channel on 5Ghz.
Any Wifi Neighbors near by? If so, how many?
If you updated to recent FW v.210, try enabling Daisy Chain. Some have mentioned that this seems to be working in reverse order, enabling means disabled actually. Hoping NG support can have a look at this. So try this out as well.
