Slow Download for Excel Workbooks

I have a a Netgear Orbi RBR50 setup at home.  Connection is great and all speed testing comes back around 400mbps.   Streaming movies, tv, etc. there are no issues and internet speed on my computer is not an issue.  Except for some reason downloading Excel workbooks from my work network is incredibly slow.  I have spoken with others that I work with and they don't seem to be having the same issues which leads me to believe it has something to do with my setup at home.  Would there be some kind of issue that wouldn't present itself with streaming but would for downloading data packages like Excel workbooks?

Re: Slow Download for Excel Workbooks

What Firmware is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the ISP modem the NG router is connected too?
Is the Orbi system operating in Router or AP mode?

What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router and satellite(s)? 30 feet is recommended in between RBR and RBS to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected. https://kb.netgear.com/000036466/How-far-should-I-place-my-Orbi-satellite-from-my-Orbi-router

What channels are you using? Auto? Try setting manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz and any unused channel on 5Ghz.
Any Wifi Neighbors near by? If so, how many?

Try enabling Beamforming and MIMO(MIMO may or maynot be needed) and WMM. Under Advanced Tab/Advanced Settings/Wireless Settings

Try disabling the following and see:
Armor, Circle, Daisy Chain, Fast Roaming, IPv6 and Set 20/40Mhz Coexistence to 40Mhz only. Save settings and reboot the router and satellite(s).

Re: Slow Download for Excel Workbooks

Current Firmware is V2.3.5.30

The Modem is Ubee E31U2V1

The house is 3000 square feet.  I have the router in the basement with the modem and satelites on floors 1 and 2.  No other devices have any connection issues other than the laptop when it comes to opening larger Excel workbooks.

The 2.4 Ghz was on auto and I have tried with 1, 6, and 11, there doesn't seem to be any change.  I live on a residential street and it seems like I have 2-3 neighbors at any given time whose WiFi appears available to me.

I can try the other suggestions later today.  I'm pretty green with all of this so I appreciate the help.

Are the workbooks downloaded to a desktop or laptop?  If a laptop, is it possible to test the laptop at a different location?  (friend's house, coffee shop?)

Is a VPN involved in the download?

Does wired connection exhibit the same problem?
