synology NAS connected to Orbi Router via ethernet port not accesible

Hi,
I just installed my Orbi system today. I have the system itself in AP mode, and the network is working fine.
However my Synology NAS which is connected via ethernet to the Orbi Router cannot be accessed via my browser.
The IP address is 10.0.1.29 (as I can see in the list of connected devices), but entering 10.0.1.29:5000 in the browser shows me error screen.
Can somebody tell me what's wrong and how to fix this?
Thx!
Fabio

Re: synology NAS connected to Orbi Router via ethernet port not accesible
5000 is the correct http port for the Synology GUI. It's 5001 for https.
Can you ping the Synology?
Try closing your browser and reoping it. If that doesn't work try rebooting everything (NAS, Orbi, and your client machine.)

Re: synology NAS connected to Orbi Router via ethernet port not accesible
Thx for your replies!
Unfortunately still doesn't work after trying these different things. I have now plugged my Synology NAS into ethernet port of modem/router of ISP. Still doesn't work.
My setup is:
ISP Modem / Router
Orbi connected to this modem via ethernet cable
I tries connecting NAS via ethernet with both Orbi (Router) and Modem, but in both cases doesn't work.
I also get time-out when pinging the IP address.
IP address of NAS (10.0.1.29) is in a different range then rest of network (192.168.178.x). Can this cause a problem?
Any help us much appreciated!
