After trying the suggested changes by ekhalil you might want update FW on the Orbi system at some point:

ekhalila small update from my last message (don't forgot to read my message what i send before). I changed the lease time to maximum on this moment and that is 2 days... Now he still working after one hour so need to be something with the lease time. The only problem is that i need to reboot the ORBI router or release / renew the lease time manual in the web interface before the internet is working again.

Thanks for the information.
Good that we know the issue is related to lease time. This is a first step. 🙂
The GPON device that you use (TP-LINK Archer XR500v) has router functionality and this will cause you many issues. It's this router that is now leasing the IP address and not the public IP coming from the ISP.
I guess that Orbi is set in Router Mode (not AP Mode) now, right?
If yes, then please do the following:
(1) Set Orbi as DMZ server by folloiwng the steps in the manual (see the screenshot below from the TP-LINK manual). The PC below refers to Orbi. You can set the static IP for Orbi under >> ADVANCED >> Iternet Setup >> Internet IP Address >>:
(2) Disable DHCP on the TP-LINK as follows (remove the tick beside Enable):
(3) Disable Wireless Settings on the TP-LINK:

Glad you got it working. Please mark your thread as solved so others will know. Be sure to save off a back up configuration to file for safe keeping. Saves time if a reset is needed.

Enjoy. 📡 - ekhalilJul 02, 2022MasterGreat that you got the issue sorted out, but I still think that you have an issue in the setup if Orbi is in Router Mode, is it?. You can’t have 2 routers in the network.

You can’t have 2 routers in the network.(literally) tens of thousands of people have 2 routers in their network. They just plug in whatever they bought (Google, Asus, Linksys, eero, etc. etc.), read the WiFi credentials off the case, and 'move on.' Double NAT definitely affects specific applications. When the user needs those applications, then something must be done.

Though it's not recommended to have two routers. One can have two routers one the same network, different sub nets of course, but if they use the DMZ on the 1st primary router, one can have a 2nd router behind the 1st one and co-exist fine. DMZ helps to avoid some double NAT issues that could be seen in this configuration.

Yes on this moment I have 2 routers in the netwerk. Is that a big issue?
The only problem i have sometimes - maybe because i have 2 routers or totally something else - is when i click on an advertising from Google Ads or Shopping is an 'ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED' error and that the website don't load. This is only from the advertising part and not when i go to the website from the organic results or directly.

Are you using the DMZ or IP pass thru on the 1st router for the 2nd router?
Is IPv6 enabled on ether router?
Does this happen with all devices?
Does this happen in different browsers?

Yes, this can be caused by double NAT issue (multiple routers) but it can also be a DNS issue. What DNS configuration do you have in Orbi please?

Sorry guys for my late reply, I was with holidays.
FURRYe38 see below my answers:
- No, just IPv4.
- This error i received on all devices.
- Yes also with different browsers (Chrome and Safari) we received the error.
ekhalil see the screenshot for the settings I have (I changed nothing here since I installed the ORBI).

I would configure DMZ on the upstream router for the RBR in router mode or try setting the Orbi system in AP mode.
- ekhalilJul 26, 2022MasterSeems nothing is marked for DNS selection.
Please mark “get automatically from ISP” and then click on Apply and test. - Stefan-M034Jul 26, 2022Aspirant
Ok, i can try but how i configure this good? I'm not an expert with this kind of settings...
It is not possible. When i click on the radio button nothing happend. Looks that those options are disabled.
