Netgear Orbi RBK53 to Centurylink Router C3000z
Have an Orbi RBK53 system coming in. Can I hook the Orbi router directly to the Centurylink C3000z router for setup and use?

I thought I had to keep it to use Centurylink wifi. Can I just get rid of the Centurylink Router and replace it with the orbi? Connect the Orbi to the CenturyLink modem? Is there any special process to follow if this is possible except normal installation?
I believe this question was directed to me.
Yes, the Orbi is a router plus any Sats you may have.

Yes, however, This would be a double NAT condition which isn't recommended. https://kb.netgear.com/30186/What-is-Double-NAT
Couple of options,
1. Configure the modem for transparent bridge mode. You'll need to contact the ISP for help and information in regards to the modem being bridged correctly. Then use the Orbi router in router mode.
2. If you can't bridge the modem, disable ALL wifi radios on the modem, configure the modems DMZ/ExposedHost or IP Pass-Through for the IP address the Orbi router gets from the modem. Then you can use the Orbi router in Router mode.
3. Or disable all wifi radios on the modem and connect the Orbi router to the modem, configure AP mode on the Orbi router. https://kb.netgear.com/31218/How-do-I-configure-my-Orbi-router-to-act-as-an-access-point and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H7LOcJ8GdDo&app=desktop- JosserTutor
The 3rd option looks the easiest to me as I not real tech savy on the modems. By disabling the wifi do you mean turning off all the below like the ones below and then configuring the AP mode on the Orbi to make it act as the router? Thanks again, Jerry
There are 2 of the below on my router...
1. Set the wireless radio state.
Wireless Radio:
Enable
Disable

Yes, the wifi radios on the modem/router need to be disabled when you go to configure the Orbi RBR for AP mode.
The modem/router your currently using is probably already working as your router so since the easiest configuration for you is AP mode on the RBR. This will disable the RBRs router mode features.
If you want to use the RBR in router mode with its features enabled, then you'll need to configure the modems wifi as disabled as well, then use it's DMZ or IP Pass-thru for the Orbi RBR, then set the RBR to router mode. As suggested in Option #2.
