FTP data transfer not working on GS110TP
Hi,
I have this GS110TP managed switch. I have NAS drive connected to this switch and also Eero router. I have port forwarded the FTP port to this drive. I am getting FTP control connected. Could not load the data directory structure and getting timed out. Should I have to do any settings to get data ports open dynamically?
Boot Version: B5.1.0.2
Software Version: 5.4.2.13
Any issue with switch or settings? Please help. I did not do any settings all default.

A simple L2 switch does not have any impact on basic ftp control and data connections.
ftp data connections in passive mode should be fine.
Any double NAT (two routers) involved?

Thanks schumaku for your reply.
I am a noob in networking. I have no idea if this GS110TP smart switch is " simple L2".
I am trying ftp connections through windows explorer ( from a pc which is on the same subnet) connected in the same subnet. The NAS has IP address as 192.168.XXX.104. My PC has 192.168.xxx.125. Gateway IP address Eero router 192.168.XXX.001.
Previous to these switches and router, I used TP-Link router. I connected through double NAT ( two routers) and it worked fine and awesome. Now I removed second network and pulled my wireless option from second NAT to first one itself. My ISP gave these Eero mesh wifi devices. One Eero is my router, second one is my mesh/repeater. Both produce wifi signals.
I tried with Eero customer service and they said the router will open the data connections like a regular router. Now only change is the switch. This switch is managed, so that's why questions pop up. It has lots of features and options which I thought might want to ask if these switches blocking the connections.

ll device on this LAN are on the same IP subnet? Unclear what people try t hide from private LAN IP subnet addresses? No idea where or how you had removed that other second network and pulled my wireless option from second NAT to first one itself. Sorry, I'm lost with this description 8-)
