GS305E loosing 1000M Link Speed

I'm having problem with my GS305E switch. I often 1GB often drops down to 100 and I have to restart Switch to get 1000M back.

I'm when using WIFI it's alwasy 1GB so I don't think it's router fault. Only on LAN I have speed drop.

No idea why it happens. Can anyone help. FYI I don't have too advance network knowledge 🙂

For router I'm using Synology RT2600AC.

Not sure why I can't choose 1000M Speed instead of Auto also.

Typical cause is bad network cable wiring, bad cable, bad connectors.

The link in question is between a router LAN port and the GS305E?

For Gigabit and faster Ethernet copper connections, IEEE mandates Auto negotiation usage only.

have you tried swapping the ethernet cable? A sketchy cat 5e can cause issues

Re: GS305E loosing 1000M Link Speed

All my cables are CAT 6 and CAT6A. I noticed one thing the cable in switch was a bit pulled out(clicked but pulled a bit out) i pushed it in and right away 1GB again worked.
