GS308E smart managed plus switch

Permitting the GS308E is connected at boot- power-up time to one of these eero LAN ports (start with the unit doing the NAT router - so the one connected with the other Ethernet port to the cable modem) - it will get an IP address assigned by the eero router. At that point, you can use either the NETGEAR Switch Discovery Tool on a PC/Mac/Linux system or simply use the Netgear Insight App to discover the network and hopefully able to locate the GS308E with it's assigned IP address.

Whatever happened since - disconnected from the network, so no connection to the router (DHCP server) for example, restarted without the . The switch will continue to get it' IP address from  the router DHCP server. If it does not have an option to reserve the MAC-IP address pair so always the same IP would be assigned, if it does not have some local name-to-DNS service allowing to use DNS based on the switch name, ... you need to continue using either the utility or the App to find the IP address assigned (or worst case to realize there was no network connection to the router at switch power-up time.
