PLW1000v2 working fine but "Pick a Plug" LED not lit

I recently purchased a pre-owned PLW1000v2/PL1000 v2 from a friend, to get internet into the shed. It works fine. The link speed hovers around 300Mbps which is adequate for my usage. But the Pick A Plug LED doesn't seem to light even at that link speed. I thought it should be lit either green, amber or red if connected depending on speed. But it stays off.
Should I be worried about this? Do they just need to be factory reset?

Yeah so do you think it's just the LED isn't working/broken? The Pick A plug light on the host PL1000 adapter is lit green. I upgraded to the newest firmware yesterday and it didn't fix the issue.
