PLW1010 won't accept default user/pass even after factory reset

Hi, I have a PLW1010, it works fine but the problem is I want to go into the settings and change some things, I want to update the firmware, change the name of the location, etc. No matter how much I try to log in to mywifiext (or directly to the IP of the device) admin/password isn't working. I already tried factory resetting it, the 30-30-30 resset, I also tried disconecting the powerline that's hooked up to my router and factory resetting it as well, I pretty much tried everything. The factory reset seems to work because after I did it, the SSID changed back to the default and the password also but even if I go into the IP in my browser, user:admin and password:password simply won't work.

 

Any idea what could be going on?

    I find that the easiest way to deal with these things is to user the Windows deskop genie and get at devices through the Network Map. Right click.

     

    It can be slow to build the map!
