Powerline 1200 and Nighthawk R7300
I have a few Netgear Powerline 1200 adapters in my home. I am also upgrading my network with the Nighthawk R7300 DST and DST Adapter. Is it possible to use the Powerline 1200 adapters with this router? I just installed the router and the Powerline 1200 adpaters are not connecting whereas the DST adapter that came with the R7300 does connect.
They are HomeplugAV compliant so should work. What is probably causing the problem is the Encryption Key being used. I would guess the key being used by your 1200 adapters is different to the key used by the router and the DST unit.
Once you have all units using the same encryption key everything should work. Note you probably need to connect the 1200 units by lan cable to a pc / laptop to be able to change the encryption key (using Netgear Genie)
Hope this helps

I'll give it a try but I think I recall simply plugging in the adapters without setting an encryption key. Two came from one kit and I purchased a third separately. It was simply plug and play! I'll give it a try and see if it works.
