Installation of Logitech Media Server 7.7.5 fails on ReadyNAS NVX
I have a ReadyNAS NVX (Model RNDX4250) on which I have been using Logitech Media Server (formerly Squeezecenter) for some 6 years. I was experiencing some difficulties in syncing the software with i...

Understood. I have raised a new topic entitled: "LMS iTunes integration failing under version 7.9".
As for the solution to my installation problem I believe it was twofold:
a) Need to update RAIDiator to 4.2.30.
b) Need to use LMS version 7.9.

OK, just had time to quickly do the following:
a) Disabled Twonky server on the ReadyNAS.
b) Rebooted the ReadyNAS.
c) I am able to bring up LMS on port 9001 of my ReadyNAS. However it is asking me to login to my mysqeezebox.com account. I have entered my account credentials and pressed Next only to be told I have an invalid mysqueezebox.com username/password. (NOTE: I have verified the account credentials I am using my loggging into mysqueezebox.com in a separate browser tab without any problem.)
NB: This is the first time, that I can recall, that I have been asked to login to mysqueezebox.com when attempting to access SqueezeCenter.

You should be able to skip the mysqueezebox.com login. It isn't necessary to complete this step to access LMS.
There should be a box labelled "Skip" on the login page, once you have skipped it it shouldn't ask you again.

OK, I have resolved the DNS issue and have been able to complete the login and hence access LMS. However my next problem is this:
I have always made use of the iTunes integration plugin, since historically iTunes was used to capture most of my music. I have re-installed the iTunes plugin and configured it as previously. However when I now perform a "Clear Library and rescan everyting" this happens:
a) My music folder(/media/music/my recordings) is scanned and imported.b) When it comes to scanning my iTunes files I receive the error: "Media scan terminated unexpectedly (Scanning Progress)".
Upon checking the logs I see:
a) scanner.log shows the steps involved in importing files from /media/music/my recordings without any error. No mention of the iTunes files.
b) server.log - no messages since the server was last started, 15 minutes earlier.
So, I'm still back where I started i.e. unable to scan my most recent iTunes library.

Hello Tradewind25,
It may be best you create a new topic for the iTunes with the right title so other members in the community who are getting the same trouble or have experienced it will see the topic and perhaps will help. :)
