Logitech Media Server

Hi,

I'm currently using a ReadyNas 104 with the latest NASTools version of Logitech Media Server. It works - just fine. However, I want to move over to a later version, away from the NASTools version and use one of the readily available alternates - probably 7.9.1 - but none of these versions will work on my ReadyNAS 104!

If I go back to the NASTools one it works. what is so different with my 104 that I can't use anything else?? Can anyone answer this?

I'm on the latest version firmware 6.10.1

Please advise. Thanks!

  • I made it work. The issue is that the media server simply doesn't appear in the ReadyNAS admin interface. It still works ok! As it doesn't really matter if it's in the interface or not I'm happy to accept this.

However, I can make it appear by adding LMS 1.0.9 over the top of it (Poussin). Not necessary at this point.
