Loss of communication betweer ReadyNAS 204 and Windows 10 computers

My home network consists of two Windows 10 computers and a ReadyNAS 204. One of the Windows 10 machines was exhibiting signs of hard drive failure so I replaced the hard drive.  Since then, the ReadyNAS cannot perform backups (When I go to the NAS Backup page and do a "Test Connection", I get an "error connecting to folder" message.

The one thing I have noticed is that on the "Network" tab of the ReadyNAS, there are now two (2) bond0 settings where ther used to be a bond0 and a bond1 (I have absolutely no idea what this means).

I also get the following warning from ReadyNAS - "Bond interface bond0 has slave interface eth0 offline."

Any ideas as to what the problem is and how I may resolve it???

    Hi Big_B

Did the re-sync completed without any issues? changing the disks should not affect other settings unless there is an underlying issue on your NAS.

Kindly send us the logs (Guide on my sig) so we can properly check on the issue.

Bond0 means there has been bonding of your adapters. Please see What are bonded adapters

    Regards

    Hi Big_B

Were you able to do a backup job using the IP rather than it's hostname?

Hope everything is doing fine now.

    Regards
