Storage Central SC101

Hi, I have a Storage Central SC101 that was last run on windows 3. I am trying to figure out if there is any way to get the files off of it. I saw in a previous thread that someone used virtual box to install an old version of windows xp and get the files off of that however I do not know how to do that. If anyone could help that would be great
