Error when doing a backup in Windows Vista
Hello, i have a problem when trying to do a backup of a shared folder in windows Vista. I get the following error message: NT_STATUS_OBJECT_NAME_NOT_FOUND listing .... i have not been abl...

Are you trying to do a full backup? Vista doesn't support a full backup to a network share. Windows 7 and above do. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Backup_and_Restore
There are other tools that you can use. I use Acronis TrueImage on my Vista system (not the cloud backup version, the local backup one).

No, I´m not trying to do a full backup. I´m trying to do a backup of a folder in Windows Vista and i get the error message i posted.
Does anyone have any idea to help me?

I just want to make sure I understand the scenario first.
Are you using drag/drop to copy the folder, the Windows Vista Backup and Restore Center, or the built-in ReadyNAS backup jobs?

Can you post the backup job settings you are using?
Also, is the folder shared in Windows? Are you trying to use a microsoft logon on the NAS or a local windows account?
