Netgear AC1750 and TPLink extender - will not allow devices to connect via TP link to Virgin Hub 5
Hi, this week I received a Virgin Media Hub 5. The Netgear AC 1750 which was connected previously to the Hub 3.0, and which allows an extension via a TPLink extender, whilst showing it is connected to the Hub 5.0, will not connect end devices to the internet.
Should settings on the Media Hub be changed ? (
Should the Media Hub be changed from 'Router' to 'modem' (ie, is the netgear to act as the 'router' ?).
Should the settings on the Netgear be changed to allow flow through of the Hub credentials to be enabled that allow the end devices to connect (as if they are connected to the Virgin Media ISP service, along with the WiFi being recognised as the Virgin Media box (and associated password), rather than the 'Netgear' box or 'TP Link' box ?

Which one? AC1750 isn't a model number.
It is not a reliable guide to model number. Many devices come with an AC tag, but it is essentially a label that Netgear, and other brands, attach to hardware to describe wifi speeds.
Look at the label on the device for the model number.

Depends on the unknown AC1750 and TPLink extender. You'll need one router on the network. And only one.
