Nighthawk AC1900 setup problem
Replace my old Netgear N600 Model WNDR3400v3 (another post).
Re. the AC1900: Followed setup genie and tried to link the old netgear modem wifi names and passwords. After the 'set up' keep getting 'no internet connection' on the old wifi names and the setup name is no longer visible.
Using Nighhawk app on cell phone.
Everytime I try to 'redo' the setup I am now getting 'Logon timed out. please try again. If this issue persists, try rebooting your device.'
Did that and am in a loop to the same statement.
Suggestions.

- Stop using crappy apps to set up a router, they're not meant for that. Go to http://routerlogin.net or http://192.168.1.1 and properly set up the router.
Oh, and don't you even think of using an app and WiFi to update the router's firmware, unless you *want* troubles

If you are using the same ARRIS DG1670 modem as in that conversation, you are piling router on router. Bad idea.
