Have you tried a Gb lan switch in between there modem and router?
What is a GB Local Area Network switch?
- Do you mean use this INSTEAD of the Netgear Router?
In between the modem and NG router:
- What would be the expected operation of this device to assist in having the internet recognised by my devices attached to the network?
- Could it be anything to do with the AP settings? Should I use a Fixed IP address?
At the moment it is:
IP address 192.168.1.86
IP subnet Mask 255.255.255.0
Gateway IP address 192.168.1.1
Primary DNS 192.168.1.1
there is no secondary DNS address
