MS510txpp - VLAN configuration different then on the GS724tv3?

Hello! 

I am upgrading my network from 1gb to 10gb / Multigigabit. I have a cisco switch as my core, and am connecting netgear switches in a hub an spoke arrangement. I have GS724tv3´s running since about 7 years without problems with my VLAN setup, but I haven´t been able to get the new MS510TX running in this setup. 

VLANS: 

VLAN10 - Clients

VLAN11 - Servers

VLAN12 - Firewall

I have a configured VLAN Trunk, and I Tagged all those vlans on the MS510´s uplink port, and Untagged on the ports where I wanted to use it. I have left the vlan1 active, as netgear switches have seemed to need this. (Atleast the GS724v3 config had it like that..) 

But I run into a strange problem. The management interface is in vlan 1 (Which I had deactivated in my network) and if I changed it to vlan 10 or 11 - I needed a factory reset to regain access to it. that was the first part I found very annoying. So I left it be for the configuration. 

Then I configured all the ports and started connecting devices to it. The only network that worked, was - at first glance - the vlan 10. Clients got a ip adress and where able to connect to services running across on the cisco switch. I was not able to get the VLAN 11 and 12 (and all the rest, but just to keep it simple I´ll stick with those 3) running at all. 

After hours of searching, I have come to the conclusion that the only VLAN that really works, is the VLAN1 - If I remove the PVID1 from any port, that port stops working at all (Remembert, the "first" vlan - vlan10 clients worked in the initial tests!) if I added the VLAN1 atleast the client port started working again. Very strange. Maybe this modell needs a working vlan1 for whatever reason? I added a vlan1 to my cisco, setup a whole new network segment for this "Netgear management" 192.168.0.0/24 (just in case.. the default ip the MS510 falls back on, is 192.168.0.239) with DHCP, dns and every thing. So when I now start a factory reset fresh config, with only VLAN1 active I was awaiting ips from the network 192.168.0.0 - but instead I STILL got the VLAN10 ip´s. 

If I connect the GS724v3 again, it all works as expected with out me changing anything. All VLANs are useable (about 20 in total) and the ports in different vlans actually use different IP areas (No assmeteric vlan crap!!) 

Has anybody some pointers how to get a MS510tx running with vlans in combination with a cisco switch?

I have a case open (40614725) but am hoping somebody might have an answer already!
