Netgear Genie software update not completing

Hey, I haf exactly the same problem. Got a notice in the Netgear Genie saying there was new software, I click it and it starts downloading, then a pop up came up saying I should click OK to download it and when I did that it failed to download further.

However, while trying to get screenshots for this post and thus waiting a bit before clicking OK, instead of doing it instantly like the other times I had tried, it actually completed the download and I was able to install without problems.

Seems weird if waiting a bit before clicking OK would be the solution, but it worked for me, and if nothing else I'd try a few more times.
