Netgear N300 (Model WNA3100) not detected in windows 8.1(build 9600)
The adapter doesn't seem to be detected by the pc even though I'm sure it's on since it shows a blue light. I've looked on device manager and it shows as "remote download wireless adapter" under "other devices" instead of "network adapters". I've tried updating the drivers, but it shows they're already up to date. When I hover over to the small monitor with a red cross, it shows "not connected - no connections are available". I don't know what to do anymore and any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
