8Tb seagate NAS drives

Hello All

One of my 3tb drives has failed in my 2120 and rather than replace it for the same drive I am thinking about upgrading the entire system. Looking at the hardware compatibility list for the 2120 the 6tb drives are campatible but there is no mention of the 8tb drives. The model number I am looking at is the ST8000VN0002. Has anyone tried this device in the 2120? Firmware is currently 6.2.4

Regards

Phil

Well to have a volume larger than 16TB you would need to be running newer firmware.

So if you do give these disks a try update the firmware first.
