Adding mount options to ReadyNas's /etc/fstab?

Hi,
I was looking around my ReadyNas Duo for the first time today, and looked at the mount options for my data disk. I'm concerned about having "safer" settings for protecting my data. I see that journaling is enabled according to the mount options (in line with my settings on the Performance tab). What about when it gets an error? Can I set "errors=remount-ro"? I checked the tune2fs output, and it said:
Errors behavior: Continue

My question is whether it would be possible and safe to set errors=remount-ro either in fstab or on the superblock? Or is this just not necessary because the RAID layer take care of it? (If I just made the change would the readynas overwrite it or worse, stop working?)

Thanks,
Greg

PS- I'm using a ReadyNas Duo, running RAIDiator 4.1.10 [1.00a043]

NAS-1TB:~# grep /dev/c /proc/mounts
/dev/c/c /c ext3 rw,noatime,data=ordered,usrquota,grpquota 0 0
