Duo v2 NFS extremely poor performance

On a legacy NAS you also need to download and install enablerootssh from http://www.readynas.com/?p=4203
V1 (running 4.1.x firmware) is the "sparc" choice
V2 (running 5.x.x firmware) is the "arm" choice
Ultra/Pro (running 4.2.x firmware) is the "x86" choice
After you install the add-on, putty will connect ok. Use "root" as the username, and the admin password of the NAS for the password.
Of course be careful, since if you do something with SSH that does damage, Netgear can (understandably) deny support.
