FTP Connection to FOSCAM Camera

FOSCAM cameras -- each has its dedicated IP address and will communicate to FTP server with pictures to upload on an alarm.

FTP server activated on ReadyNAS system.

FileZilla can access the FTP server and enumerate directories and support upload of info to the readyNAS.

FTP connection by the FOSCAM cameras on the same subnet does not provide connection -- connection is refused.

Does anyone have a similiar configuration and could help with the connection parameters they are using.

There must be something simple here but I am stumped.

No force ftps, masquerade address disabled ... this should do the job.

Testing with FileZilla is a good idea, but you have to be aware that this ftp client is very smart. Less verbose, try a "dumb" ftp client e.g. a simple Linux or Windows ftp client from the command line.
