How can I make Readynas Remote work under AVG protection?

How can I make Readynas Remote work under AVG protection? I have a NV+v2. When I run Remote via my win7 it shows my nas box is offline. But if I disable my AVG internet security protection, it's online. And, when I click on the nas box icon in Remote windows, I still can't access the folder of my nasbox unless I select "allow all" in my AVG firewall option. I have treid to add exception of remote app as allow in my AVG setting but it doesn't work.
Any idea about this if I don't want to lose my AVG protection?

So you're running AVG on your Windows machine, and the AVG firewall is somehow blocking ReadyNAS Remote?

Yep, that's why I never use software firewalls.....always disable/uninstall them.... If you can't add an exception in the AVG firewall interface, then just leave it off. They cause more problems (like this) than they solve...
