NV+ V2 + DLNA + Toshiba 32SL800 = ZERO
Hi all!
Just bought NV+ v2 updated firmware to the 5.3.3. Installed the latest ReadyDLNA add-on.
I cannot see any images, play any mp3 files - they are not visible. I can see the sub folders where I put the files, I can see the files via BROWSE menu in web admin
https://192.168.1.XXX/admin/index.html but there are two problems:
- I can see video files on my TV but unable to play any. The length is being displayed as 00:00:00 and when I click play i see error "Media is not supported" (the same file shared via Windows Media Player is playing as it should)
- I cannot see jpegs and mp3 at all. Tried refresh DLNA add-on and it did not help.
I did system reset with wiping all data, but it did not help.
Any ideas what is wrong?
Or I have just bought a piece og cr..p which states that it is DLNA CERTIFIED? Is this some kind og joke, NETGEAR?
Please, anyone help me with setting up DLNA.
THANK YOU!
Alex

I tried this one with no success. :( - mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredCan you download your logs (On the Dashboard, click Configure, then select Health > Logs > Download Logs). What does your upnp-av.log look like?

Thank you for looking into this!
Have a terrific weekend.
Alex - mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredSo should it have found 3 files in total?
- grooovyAspirant
- mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredYou might wish to try the Debug Toggle add-on (http://www.readynas.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=76&t=27946) then rebuild the database again, and download the logs again. Then open a tech support (http://www.readynas.com/support) case and send in the upnp-av.log. Maybe they'll have some ideas.
- grooovyAspirantYes. Files were found. But I am unable to play any of them. :(
Videos length is zero and I cannot play them from NAS where as I am able to play the same files via DLNA set up in Windows Media PLayer.
Very strange... :( - grooovyAspirantOK. Thanks for your help!
- grooovyAspirantMusic and photos are displaying fine now! But videos - don't :(
