Question about ISCSI and Plex?
So, I just bought a ReadyNAS 312 this weekend. I set it up and everything seems to be working great so far.
What I am wondering is if there is any way to access the data that is added through ISCSI in the Plex Media Server app?

- mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredYou could access that data using Plex Media Server running on the PC on which the initiator mounts the target, but not on the NAS itself. Only mount the target on one PC at a time. You could share the files on the target from the PC you mount it on.
- XRa7AspirantYeah after I posted this I pretty much figured that out. Oh well, I will have to do things differently.
- I've experimented with PLEX is many different configurations, I find iSCSI a little slow for this purpose, I get almost double the throughput when using SMB.
