I do not know if that will allow you to install from the GUI (since you cannot answer Y if it asks about installing from an outdated source), but it will work for standard and ReadyNAS-specific .deb packages installed from SSH. But since most ReadyNAS-specific apps (including the one you are trying to install) are years old, just as is the Debian distro on which the OS based), you typically don't want to be using those ReadyNAS-specific ones, anyway.
install this first.
