ReadyNAS Pro 2 - how to delete unwanted files??
This is an old NAS that I'm using to store music files.
In the Volumes section, I see this:
Disk space
47 GB (1%) of 3696 GB used
Additional 10 GB reserved for snapshots
The NAS is running RAIDiator 4.2.31.
How do I clean out that 47+ GB??
Where is it in the filesystem??
I don't have snapshots turned on.
Thank you!! 🙂

Re: ReadyNAS Pro 2 - how to delete unwanted files??
The ext file system reserves some space when you create it. This is normal, and if you look with the linux commmand line you won't see any files on the data volume. There is nothing you can or should do.
BTW, a Pro-2 can be converted to run OS 6 (6.x firmware) - since your NAS is now empty, this would be a good time to do that if you wish. One advantage of OS-6 is that you can run the current version of plex, and use that to access your music library.
I do recommend increasing the stock memory from 1 GB to at least 2 GB if you decide to convert it.
