I am currently running Firmware 6.9.5. Hotfix 1. I have been running it for a while now. If I serach for a new Long-Term Support release, I don't see anything new.
But I find 6.10.2 in Stable release.
Will there be a Long-Term support release anytime soon?
If not, is it recommended that I upgrade to the 6.10.2 Stable release?
Thank you.

6.9.6 is actually out, though it doesn't show up as available if you check for updates on the NAS. It only adds fixes to match changes made on Microsoft Onedrive and GMail, so is not needed if you don't use either of those.
I'm sure a 6.10.x will ultimately migrate to long-term support. Whether you upgrade to that now is a personal decision. I have not, except on a "sandbox" NAS and virtual machine, as I see nothing they add that I really need and always wait to see if any bugs surface after release. You should take a look at the release notes and see if there is anything that affects you in the newer releases.
