Streaming to WD Live from my ReadyNas RN204

I have seen past discussions regardinng the use of the ReadyNAS RN204  product with the WD LIve Products.   So,  Here is something I have an issue with and Im not quite sure where to point a look for a solution.

My set up,  I have my RN204 loaded with lots of HD Video MKV, MP4 and some AVI's on my network, I am having the occational drop out while streaming to my WD Live,  what I mean drop out is that were watching a video and all of a sudden the movie stops and we get a message that it the device is not available and when that happens I have to go in and select the media device again, then select the folder and then the video, I click play and the I get the resume and I hit resume and the movie plays from where we were dropped.   It is not consistant, no real specific notice it just stops.

I did look in to the logs on the Netgear and I do not see any errors.

The NAS is up to date with firmware 6.4.2   and I am not using a bonded connection.

I'm sure the other users here have the WD device so any suggestions would be appreciated.

Which services are you running under System > Settings > Services ?

    Which apps are you running?

Is your WD Live connected to your network via a wired ethernet connection or using Wi-Fi?

Under Services there is a green line under  SMB, AFP, Ready DNLA, UPNP, HTTP, HTTPS

Under shares the foldes with the videos have only SMB and DNLA listed under protocalls.

I have no apps running at all

Our house is hard wired for a GB network with GB switches,  the WD Live and WD devices are all hard wired cat 6 cabeling.  I have the Netgear 7500 series router.

Hope that answers your questions.  and thanks for chiming in.

CPU8088  Here is exacctly what the WD is saying in a box titled Content Source Not Found.

The previously selected content source has been disconnected.  Would you like to browse a different source?   You can choose Yes and the list of sources show up and you go in and select media devices and the device and files you want to watch.     Selecting No sends you back to the Main WD Screen Music, Video, Live TV sources and the such.

The device info shows Firmware 2.01.86

Prior to buying this ReadyNas  I had and still use a couple of Iomega/Ienovo IX2 device with the WD and never have had this problem.  I have 2 WD Live and 2 of the Media Servers and they all are fine with the Iomega's.

I really like the ReadyNAS and it is just a little bit of a problem when watching a movie and I loose connection and have to go back to the file and resume...  Other than that the ReadyNas seems solid as far as I can see.
