Unable to Upgrade PLEX Media Server to Newest Release

just updated to 6.7.1 not long ago, but I've been experiencing this issue for months. I'm still running Plex v1.3.x, been that long since it'd let me upgrade.
I have plex installed on my RN526x, but the server I actually use has Plex running on a PC.
I'm running 6.7.5 on the NAS, and just checked for updates. Plex told me to install manually, so I uploaded 1.7.3.3937 via the upload control on the app tab. That install worked.
If you've already tried manually upgrading, you might try updating the firmware to 6.7.5 and trying again.
As I've said, Normally, I just turn off PLEX, then I do the normal Manual Install of a newer version which just overwrites the older version. In general it works just fine and there's no issues. But a few updates back, no matter what I did it would just fail. Since I was having some other issues at the time, and I have a backup of most all of my Data, I just wiped the NAS to stock once again, and then installed everything once again. PLEX installed just fine and each version since then has installed just fine. Currently running Plex Version 1.7.4.4017 on my NAS with 6.7.5 on it.
Normally things go smoothly. I think one time I was having issues with PLEX failing to installed, after searching the Internet, I came across the solution which was deleting 1 file for PLEX. I don't recall what one it was or where it was at, but it did fix the issue and I was able to Upgrade PLEX once again.
