Upgrading RAM on ReadyNAS NV+
HI there,
I'm trying to find a source for upgrade RAM for our ReadyNAS NV+ (p/n: rnv2-s2-0000). It currently has 256MB
Are any of these suitable? : http://www.offtek.co.uk/ram-memory/netg ... y/memstid6
Thanks in advance

- DeeCee521AspirantThe pc333 RAM should work. I've upgraded three NV+ units. Two were off the approved hardware lust, the third just matched the numbers in the brackets for the memory. Ad's I recall if you get faster RAM that doesn't matter, as the NAS will only use what it can.
I'm running a Crucial module that reads [2.5-3-3-7] now and it doesn't have a problem.
I've put in 1gig and it does get years. Since I use this for rsync backup jobs I can see that the memory gets maxed out. Given the amount of data I back up in a session every little bit counts.
