Android app to browse readynas duo
Hi.
Is there a way to browse my NAS with my android phone? I found one for Iphone. Any change some are working in developing a app for android? I need it for downloading music/picture folders and files stored on my NAS and down to the SD card on my phone.
Im only gonna use this on my homenetwork. So its kinda like raidar on android!

- QuikdavAspirantHi
I downloaded ES File Explorer. From WAN, you can browse your NAS with FTP and it works fine. From home (LAN), it is also possible to connect with samba.

David - iReadyAspirantI am able to have the readynas browser on the iPhone. I had browsed it with the FTP as well and it works well as I thought. I use it for any possible downloading on the different files of NAS to the phone.
- micz1AspirantThere's also an android app called 'Cifs manager', which lets you "mount" ReadyNas shares in a local folder on the SDcard for example. This way all the android apps think that the files are local.
Really cool. But only for android phones with root access.
