Windows 10 suddenly can not browse readynas duo shares
Raidar find the readyNas and I can log into Admin page but the "Browse" button jumps to "my documents"
Windows 10 professional.
This has occurred recently, long after I upgraded to Win 10.
I have tried to add a "normal user" and that user can use Internet Explorer and surf to the readynas and view the shares as well as download filed. But file explorer refuses to reveal anything.
Any ideas??

Possibly it is because SMB1 has been disabled in the PC.
Can you go to "Turn Windows Features On or Off", and see if you can find the SMB v1.0/CIFS choice? Then confirm that the SMB v1.0/CIFS client is enabled there.

After some serarching on internet I found an article from uSoft support about SMB1. Not very easy to follow but...
I checked the registry,
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\LanmanServer\Parameters
Registry entry: SMB1Reigstry key was missing which according to uSoft indicates an "enabled" statusSo: SMB1 should be ON (I guess)Is there an easier way of figuring SMB1 status?

And make sure your network is classified as "private" by Windows. File sharing is disabled by default on public networks.
