WG111 Transmit Power Configuration
Is there some way to configure this device to reduce the Transmit Power?
I have no need to be transmitting at max power as my router is well within range. Unlike other devices there is no option for this under the Advanced tab of the Configuration Settings, nor through the Netgear WG111v2 Smart Wizard.
This device is used on a Windows 10 laptop with v4.0.0 driver (6.1308.1226.2007)

The WG111v2 may be involved in two way wifi, but it is essentially a wifi receiver.
I'm curious, do you have any reason to believe that your USB adapter is broadcasting too much power? I wouldn't know how to begin to measure it.
• What is the difference between WiFi 6 and WiFi 7?
• Yes! WiFi 7 is backwards compatible with other Wifi devices? Learn more
